Batur Volcano Trekking

Mount Batur Active Volcano is located in the sub-district of Kintamani, the regency of Bangli of Bali province. This volcanic area of Mount Batur can be reached by a 45-minutes car ride from Ubud and by one and a half hours car ride from Kuta.

A visit to Mount Batur, Kintamani and surrounding can be made up in the day time to witness a huge caldera of Mount Batur and it’s crater lake. The visitors can see fertile and more productive lands surrounding the Batur area consist largely of fruits, vegetables, spices, especially cloves and arabica coffee, including Luwak coffee.

In addition, many trekkers are willing to attend to the top at the center of a huge caldera and feel the intense heat supply as volcanic steam from few Batur craters and sometimes try to put the eggs in some small crater holes to be steamed for breakfast.
